About Start and Joy

Hi, I'm Re! 👋

I've loved stationery for as long as I can remember.

When I was little, I used to say that my dream job would be to run a stationery shop — partly because I loved stationery, and partly because it would give me the perfect excuse to buy all the cute notebooks, pens and organisers I could find!

Life took me in different directions, but my love for stationery never really went away.

So, eventually, I decided to START that little stationery shop I'd always dreamed about — and JOY seemed like the perfect name.

A little shop for stationery lovers

Start and Joy is a small independent stationery shop based in the UK, created for people who get just as excited as I do about pretty paper, stickers and all those little things that make planning and journaling more enjoyable.

You'll find a mix of journaling and scrapbooking supplies, stickers, stationery, washi tape, pens and other creative little finds — carefully selected because I think they're fun, useful or simply too cute to resist!

Whether you're a keen journaler, a planner, a scrapbooker, or someone who simply loves stationery, I hope you'll find something here that brings you a little bit of joy.

Thank you for supporting a small business 💜

Behind Start and Joy is just me, packing orders, choosing products, answering messages and making sure everything that leaves the shop is packed with care.

Every order, whether it's your first or your tenth, genuinely means a lot to me.

Thank you for being here and for supporting my little stationery dream.
